Ben Rix

I’m a graphic designer and illustrator from the UK, now based in Portugal, with over a decade of experience creating visual identities, artwork and campaigns across music, culture, fashion and hospitality.

My approach is led by curiosity rather than a signature style. Every project begins with understanding its culture, audience and story, allowing the work to develop into something that feels both conceptually considered and visually distinctive. Whether creating album artwork, merchandise, festival identities, clothing collections or complete brand systems, I’m interested in building work that resonates beyond aesthetics and creates a genuine connection with people.

Music has been at the heart of my career, collaborating with major labels, independent artists and underground communities that have continually influenced the way I think and create.

Alongside client work, I’m the founder of The Wet Patch, a creative studio, concept store and cultural space that brings together design, clothing, music, print and community under one roof. It’s a place to experiment, collaborate and test ideas in the real world, and has become a natural extension of my creative practice.
